St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Jake Odum scored 20 points and Indiana State held off Southern Illinois for a 62-59 win on Saturday to make the final of the Missouri Valley Conference tournament.

The Sycamores will take on No. 2 Wichita State on Sunday after the unbeaten Shockers routed Missouri State in Saturday's other semifinal.

Justin Gant added 13 points and Manny Arop scored 10 for second-seeded Indiana State (23-9), which beat Loyola in the quarterfinals after losing its last three games of the regular season.

Anthony Beane had 16 points to lead the sixth-seeded Salukis (14-19) and Tyler Smithpeters scored 13.

Indiana State clung to its lead down the stretch.

After Desmar Jackson's free throws got the Salukis within 60-59 with 44.3 seconds left, Gant missed a shot from the top of the key at the other end but Khristian Smith tipped in the rebound for a three-point Indiana State lead.
