Recap: Green Bay vs. Milwaukee

Green Bay, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Jordan Aaron piled up 30 points and four steals, as the Milwaukee Panthers notched a 73-63 win over the Green Bay Phoenix in a Horizon League tilt at the Resch Center.

Kyle Kelm and Steve McWhorter joined Aaron in double figures with 10 points apiece for the Panthers (16-9, 6-5 HL), winners of three straight.

Keifer Sykes led the way with 26 points for a Phoenix (19-5, 9-2) team that entered the day with wins in 14 of its previous 15 outings. However, Sykes was the team's only double-digit scorer in this contest.

Green Bay jumped out to an eight-point lead in the early going, but the Phoenix led by only a 29-28 margin at the break despite holding Milwaukee to 32.1-percent shooting from the floor in the opening frame.

The Panthers had the hot hand in the second half, as they knocked down five 3- pointers and shot 60 percent from the floor over the final 20 minutes. They led by as many as 18 with four minutes to play.

Milwaukee split the regular-season series as it avenged a 93-86 home loss to the Phoenix last month.
