Recap: Wright State vs. Green Bay

Dayton, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Alec Brown scored 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting to help the Green Bay Phoenix stay unbeaten in conference play with a 79-69 win over the Wright State Raiders on Friday.

Keifer Sykes donated 18 points, seven assists and six rebounds for Green Bay (14-3, 4-0 Horizon), winners in nine straight games. Greg Mays added 14 points and seven boards off the bench, while Jordan Fouse scored 10.

Reggie Arceneaux led five Raiders (11-9, 3-2) in double digits, posting 17 points on 7-of-10 from the floor in the setback. Jerran Young and Cole Darling netted 13 points apiece, Miles Dixon chipped in 12 points and A.J. Pacher had 10.

Green Bay led 39-29 late in the first half after Lamin Fulton's 3-pointer, but Wright State capped the period with seven straight points and trailed by just three at intermission despite the Phoenix shooting 65.1 percent.

The Phoenix restored its double digit lead before the first media timeout of the second half, but once again the Raiders came storming back. Arceneaux's jumper cut Wright State's deficit to 57-56 with 9:45 to play, but the hosts never got over the hump.

Green Bay shot 5-of-6 from the foul line in the final minute, and Mays' dunk with four seconds left put an exclamation mark on the road victory.
