Recap: Coll of Charleston vs. William & Mary

Charleston, SC (SportsNetwork.com) - Willis Hall tallied 21 points and nine rebounds, as the College of Charleston Cougars made easy work of the William & Mary Tribe, 87-54, in a Colonial Athletic Association bout at TD Arena.

Hall shot 8-of-10 from the field, including 3-of-4 from 3-point range for Charleston (14-14, 6-7 CAA), which has won two of three. Canyon Barry logged 17 points and five assists off the bench, Nori Johnson was also on point from beyond the arc (4-of-7) on his way to 16 points and Anthony Stitt rounded out the balanced attack with 13 points.

For William & Mary (16-10, 8-5), losers of two of its last three, Tim Rusthoven and Omar Prewitt both netted 13 points.

Charleston outshot William & Mary from the field in the first half, 48.1 percent to 26.7 percent, as it carried a comfortable 36-20 lead into the break.

The Cougars were even better in the second half, knocking down a blistering 80.8 percent of their shots from the floor, as they cruised to the 33-point victory.

Charleston shot a red-hot 14-of-22 from 3-point range on the evening, while William & Mary was only 2-of-16 from long range.
