Recap: Davidson vs. Wofford

Davidson, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - De'Mon Brooks had 18 points on 6-of-6 shooting and eight rebounds as the Davidson Wildcats defeated the Wofford Terriers, 59-49, in a Southern Conference matchup at Belk Arena.

Tyler Kalinoski added 10 points for the Wildcats (17-11, 13-1 SoCon), who extended their winning streak to 10 games.

Spencer Collins finished with 16 points for the Terriers (16-11, 10-4), who snapped a nine-game winning streak. Karl Cochran chipped in 15 points while Lee Skinner cleared eight boards to go along with his nine points.

Wofford shot 32 percent from the field in the first period, but went 8-of-11 at the free-throw line, resulting in a 26-26 tie at the break. Davidson made 45.5 percent of its field goal tries through the first 20 minutes.

The Wildcats came out of the break hot and drained 60 percent of their field goal chances. The Terriers continued to struggle and only managed to convert a total of nine shots from the floor.

Davidson dominated play inside as it outscored Wofford 32-12 in the paint.
