Recap: North Dakota vs. Weber State

Grand Forks, ND (SportsNetwork.com) - Jordan Richardson logged 16 points to lead the Weber State Wildcats over North Dakota, 72-60, in Big Sky Conference play at the Sioux Center.

Jeremy Senglin tallied 15 points for the Wildcats (6-6, 3-1 Big Sky), who have been victorious in four of their last five. Davion Berry and Byron Fulton added 12 and 10 points, respectively. Joel Bolomboy, who shot just 1-of-8 from the field, grabbed 10 rebounds.

Troy Huff scored a game-high 17 points for North Dakota (5-9, 2-2), who have dropped three of their last five. Jaron Nash and Alonzo Traylor contributed 14 and 10 points, respectively.

North Dakota struggled to get going in the opening half, making just eight shots from the field. The Wildcats, in turn, shot a confident 42.9 percent from the field, including 6-of-11 from beyond the arc, good for a 36-24 halftime advantage.

In the second half North Dakota improved to shoot 45.5 percent from the field. Weber State, however, kept the game out of reach, with a 57.1 percent mark, and the Wildcats led by as many as 16 with a minute left to play.

The teams' disparity in perimeter-shooting ability made a huge difference, as Weber State sank 9-of-17 from the outside and North Dakota just 2-of-9.
