Recap: Montana vs. Weber State

Missoula, MT (SportsNetwork.com) - Kareem Jamar dropped in a game-high 25 points to lead the Montana Grizzlies to a 68-57 win over the Weber State Wildcats in Big Sky Conference action at Dahlberg Arena.

Jamar finished the meeting shooting 11-of-19 from the floor for the Grizzlies (13-11, 8-7 Big Sky), while Jordan Gregory pitched in with nine points and six assists for a team that snapped a two-game slide.

The Wildcats (14-9, 11-4), losers of back-to-back decisions, were paced by Kyle Tresnak with 23 points before fouling out, followed by Davion Berry and Jeremy Senglin with 12 and 10 points, respectively. Joel Bolomboy contributed with a game-high 11 rebounds.

Weber State shot an impressive 54.2 percent from the field in the first half and at the same time limited the hosts to only 1-of-8 shooting behind the 3- point line, yet it was Montana that held a slim 33-32 advantage at the break.

In the second half the Grizzlies left no doubt as they knocked down a staggering 68.2 percent from the floor in order to grab the double-digit home win.

In addition to making good on 57.4 percent from the field on the night, Montana also suffered a mere three turnovers.
