Recap: Tennessee St vs. Belmont

Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - JJ Mann netted 17 points to lead the Belmont Bruins over the Tennessee State Tigers 79-65 in an Ohio Valley Conference clash at the Gentry Center.

Craig Bradshaw scored 14 points for the Bruins (13-7, 5-1 OVC), who have won five of their last six games. Reece Chamberlain and Drew Windler added 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Patrick Miller knocked in a game-high 21 points to lead the Tigers (2-19, 1-6), who have lost five straight. M.J. Rhett and Kennedy Eubanks contributed 13 and 10 points, respectively.

It was all Belmont in the opening half, as the Bruins shot 53.1 percent from the field to the Tigers' 31.8 percent. The Bruins were up 41-19 at halftime.

Belmont shot 48.1 percent from the floor over the final 20 minutes to coast to victory.

Belmont outscored its opponent in points off turnovers 24-12 and in bench points 23-9.
