Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Nigel Williams-Goss scored 22 points as the Washington Huskies took down the Eastern Washington Eagles, 92-80, at Alaska Airlines Arena.

Perris Blackwell registered a double-double with 16 points and a team-best 11 rebounds for the Huskies (2-1), followed by C.J. Wilcox with 15 points and eight boards, although he shot just 4-of-13 from the floor. Darin Johnson and Andrew Andrews pitched in with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

The Eagles (1-1) were paced by Tyler Harvey who scored a game-high 28 points, shooting 7-of-13 behind the 3-point line. Drew Brandon filled out his stat line with 13 points, 14 rebounds and six assists, while Parker Kelly accounted for 10 points.

EWU shot 50 percent from the field and 7-of-15 beyond the arc in the first half, compared to Washington's 1-of-9 effort out on the perimeter, as the visitors grabbed a 48-39 advantage at the break.

In the second half Washington again struggled on the perimeter (0-of-4), but made up for it with a near-perfect 21-of-23 at the free-throw line. The Eagles made just 6-of-12 at the charity stripe over the final 20 minutes of the double-digit setback.

The Huskies forced 15 turnovers and outscored Eastern Washington by a 31-11 margin at the free-throw line.
