Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Delon Wright scored 20 points and pulled down nine rebounds as the Utah Runnin' Utes posted a 79-71 win over the USC Trojans in Pac-12 action at the Galen Center.

Also scoring in double figures for the Utes (17-7, 6-6 Pac-12), as they posted a third straight win, were Jordan Loveridge with 19 points and eight rebounds, followed by Dallin Bachynski and Dakarai Tucker with 13 points apiece.

The Trojans (10-14, 1-10) were paced by Byron Wesley with 20 points and seven rebounds, while Kahlil Dukes chipped in 10 points off the bench for a squad that has dropped five straight decisions.

USC, which led by as many as eight points about eight minutes into the first half, shot just 37.0 percent from the floor in the frame, including a dismal 1-of-8 behind the 3-point line, which allowed the visitors to claim a 36-31 advantage at the break.

In the second half the Utes extended their lead to 17 with just under 13 minutes to play, but they needed a 16-of-23 showing at the free-throw line in the period to secure the rare road conference win.

Utah, which knocked down 10-of-19 shots beyond the arc on the night, had not only been shutout on the road overall this season, the last league victory away from home during the regular season was at Washington (74-65) on Jan. 19, 2013.
