Recap: Washington vs. Stanford

Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - C.J. Wilcox scored 17 points on 4-of-14 shooting as the Washington Huskies held off the Stanford Cardinals, 64-60, in a Pac-12 battle at Alaska Airlines Arena.

Nigel Williams-Goss netted 16 points and dished out a team-high five assists for Washington (13-11, 5-6 Pac-12). Mike Anderson came off the bench to score 13 points, and Perris Blackwell grabbed eight rebounds in the win. The victory snaps a three-game Huskies losing streak.

Dwight Powell led all scorers in the game, notching 18 points and pulling down nine rebounds for Stanford (15-7, 6-4). Chasson Randle chipped in 17 points with four steals, and Anthony Brown contributed 12 in the loss, which ended a two-game Cardinals win streak.

Stanford shot 48.4 percent from the field in the first half and took a 34-27 lead into the intermission. Washington connected on 44 percent of its shots in the frame, including 5-of-13 from 3-point distance.

The Huskies maintained a steady pace into the second half, netting 47.6 percent of their field goal tries, and hit 15-of-19 from the free-throw line in the period. The Cardinals dropped their percentage down to 30.8 in the half, hitting just 1-of-7 from 3-point range.

Washington held the edge in bench points, 21-2, and outscored Stanford from 3- point distance, 21-9. The Cardinals had the advantage in points off turnovers, 19-11.
