Recap: Bowling Green vs. South Florida

Bowling Green, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Corey Allen Jr. had 19 points in leading the South Florida Bulls to a 75-61 victory over the Bowling Green Falcons at the Stroh Center.

The Bulls (3-0) cruised to their third straight victory on Friday. Allen Jr. shot 7-of-11 from the field, Victor Rudd added 16 points and John Egbunu had 12.

The Falcons (1-1) were paced by Jehvon Clarke's 17 points. Spencer Parker chipped in 11 points and Richaun Holmes added 10.

South Florida led 35-28 at the half due to its efficient shooting and Bowling Green's struggles. The Bulls went 2-of-4 from beyond the arc and 54.5 percent from the field overall. The Falcons were 2-of-8 from 3-point range and a mere 34.3 percent from the floor in all.

The Bulls were 62.5 percent from the field and 8-of-11 from the free-throw line in the second half. Bowling Green continued to do poorly from beyond the arc shooting 2-of-9 from 3-point range while netting just 37.9 percent from the field in total.

South Florida capitalized inside with its 44-34 scoring edge in the paint.
