McDaniels split a pair of free-throws with 2:10 left in regulation to tie the game at 54-54. Neither team scored again the rest of the second half, forcing overtime.

Hall sank a jumper with 19 seconds left in the first extra session to put Clemson up three, but Smotrycz got a 3-pointer to fall on the other end to send the game forward.

After trading the lead back and fourth four times to start the second overtime, Clemson finally took control with a 3-pointer from Harrison. The Terrapins were within striking distance the rest of the way, but could never regain the lead.
