Brenton Williams made good on all seven of his field goal chances as he tallied a team-best 17 points, followed by LaShay Page with 16 points, Mindaugas Kacinas with 13 and Eric Smith 12 points in the victory.

The Trojans (4-3) were paced by Will Neighbour who tallied a game-high 19 points, but he was the only UALR player to score in double figures.

USC scored the first points of the game and never looked back, the team shooting 57.1 percent from the floor in order to take a commanding 39-22 lead at the break.

In the second half the Gamecocks continued their hot shooting, making good on 54.5 percent from the field, en route to the 12-point win.

South Carolina turned the ball over a total of 21 times, but the team was able to overcome those miscues by owning a 40-25 advantage on the glass. The Trojans didn't do themselves any favors by shooting only 11-of-23 at the free- throw line.
