After just three bench points in the first half, the Trojans' reserves erupted for 19 second-half points to get them back into the game. Trailing 64-56 with 2:49 remaining, Kemy Osse hit a triple which was followed by a three-point play by Dillard to bring UALR to within two.

After empty possessions each way, Ammons converted a layup to give the Jaguars some breathing room. Allen followed with a transition basket to put the game away after Ammons blocked a Hagins' layup attempt with 42 seconds remaining.
