Recap: Wyoming vs. UNLV

Laramie, WY (Sports Network) - Khem Birch registered a double-double of 12 points and 14 rebounds to lead the UNLV Runnin' Rebels to a 65-42 rout of the Wyoming Cowboys in a Mountain West showdown at Arena Auditorium.

Mike Moser and Bryce Dejean-Jones scored 11 points apiece while Katin Reinhardt tallied 10 points as UNLV (21-7, 8-5 MWC) won its fourth straight game.

Derek Cooke Jr. led Wyoming (18-9, 4-9) with 15 points and nine rebounds.

UNLV shut the doors defensively in the first half, holding the Cowboys to just 12 points on 5-of-28 efficiency from the field.

The Rebels shot 56.5 percent from the floor in the second half and converted 6-of-7 at the foul line to hang onto a double-digit lead for the duration of the period.

UNLV outrebounded Wyoming, 47-25, and scored 36 points in the paint.
