Armand's triple at the 6:39 mark sparked a 20-6 run and the Gaels took a 41-30 lead into the break.

The Stags, though, opened the second half with a 9-1 burst to pull within 42-39 with 16:41 to go.

Jones, though, buried a trey to spark a 19-11 run to give Iona a 61-50 lead six minutes later. Fairfield scored the next seven points to make it a four- point game with 9:13 remaining, but back-to-back buckets from Armand and Jones pushed the spread back to nine at 65-57.
