Recap: Columbia vs. Princeton

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Denton Koon scored a career-high 23 points as the Princeton Tigers made easy work of the Columbia Lions, 65-40, in an Ivy League bout at Levien Gymnasium.

Koon shot 9-of-13 from the field for Princeton (13-9, 6-2 Ivy), which has won eight of its last 10 games. Ian Hummer added 17 points, five assists and three steals for the visitors.

For Columbia (10-13, 2-7), Maodo Lo was the lone player in double figures with 15 points. The Lions, who shot just 34 percent from the floor on the night, have lost three games in a row.

Princeton shot 54.2 percent from the field in the first half and ended the frame on a 15-3 run to take a 36-20 lead into intermission.

The Tigers continued their impressive field goal shooting in the second half (.588) and their advantage was never in doubt.

Princeton outscored Columbia in the paint, 32-18.
