Recap: Nevada vs. Green Bay

Reno, NV (Sports Network) - Deonte Burton nailed a 3-pointer with two seconds remaining to lift the Nevada Wolfpack to a 71-69 win over the Green Bay Phoenix at Lawlor Events Center as part of the World Vision Classic.

Burton finished with a game-high 19 points for Nevada (2-1) while Marqueze Coleman and Devonte Elliott each got into double figures with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Brennan Cougill and Kam Cerroni were the lead scorers for Green Bay 2-1) with 16 points a piece. Alec Brown added 12 and Keifer Sykes posted 11.

Nevada led 35-31 at the break after shooting 40.6 percent from the floor in the first half. On the other side, Green Bay shot just 33.3 percent but remained within striking distance with advantages from 3-point range (12-9) and the free throw line (9-6).

The fourth lead change of the second half occurred with 11 seconds remaining when Brown knocked down a 3-pointer for the Phoenix. However on the next possession Burton connected on the game-winner.

The team' shot almost identical percentage in the contest with Green Bay at 42.6 percent overall and Nevada at 42.4 percent.
