Recap: Utah vs. USC

Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Dewayne Dedmon recorded a double-double with 13 points and a game-high 13 rebounds, adding five blocked shots, as the USC Trojans captured a 76-59 win over the Utah Runnin' Utes in Pac-12 Conference play at the Huntsman Center.

J.T. Terrell checked in with 14 points for the Trojans (7-10, 2-2 Pac-12), followed by Jio Fontan and Byron Wesley with 13 points apiece and Eric Wise 11 for the visitors as they snapped a two-game slide.

The Runnin' Utes (8-8, 0-4) were paced by Jarred DuBois who tallied a game- high 18 points, Jason Washburn chipped in 13 and Jordan Loveridge 12 points as the squad suffered a fourth straight setback.

Utah shot only 34.5 percent from the floor in the first half, connecting on just 1-of-7 behind the 3-point line in the frame, which allowed the Trojans to move out to a 32-23 lead at the break.

In the second half USC put the game away with 60.9 percent accuracy from the floor, hitting on 3-of-7 beyond the arc, as the visitors claimed the 17-point decision.

The Utes finished the meeting just 4-of-15 on the perimeter.
