Colorado went 0- of-5 from distance, but shot 38.1 percent from the floor to take a 23-19 lead into the intermission.

After the break, WSU made only 38.7 percent of its attempts from the field while going 3-of-7 at the charity stripe. The Buffaloes extended their advantage on the scoreboard by converting 12-of-15 attempts at the free throw line over the final 20 minutes of play.
