Recap: TCU vs. Oklahoma

Fort Worth, TX (Sports Network) - Garlon Green recorded a team-high 18 points as the TCU Horned Frogs held on to upset the Oklahoma Sooners, 70-67, in Big 12 Conference action at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

Connell Crossland and Charles Hill, Jr. contributed 13 points apiece for the Horned Frogs (11-20, 2-16 Big 12). Kyan Anderson added 11 points and seven assists as TCU snapped an eight-game losing streak.

For the Sooners (20-10, 11-7), Romero Osby scored a game-high 19 points. Andre Fitzgerald recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards. Buddy Hield chipped in 10 points and nine rebounds as Oklahoma had a two-game winning streak snapped.

TCU dominated the first half, knocking down 19-of-31 from the floor and 5-of-7 beyond the arc. Oklahoma was held to 10-of-30 from the floor, as the Horned Frogs took a 44-22 advantage at the break.

Oklahoma came charging back after intermission thanks in large part to a 17- of-21 showing from the free-throw line in the second half. The Sooners cut their deficit to just one on a few occasions, including with eight seconds left on an Osby layup. Anderson had a 2-of-2 trip from the foul line with six seconds left, and Sam Grooms' last-second 3-point attempt did not fall for the Sooners.

TCU survived despite turning the ball over twice as much (16) as Oklahoma (eight).
