Recap: Oklahoma vs. TCU

Norman, OK (Sports Network) - Amath M'Baye led the way with 12 points as the Oklahoma Sooners made easy work of the TCU Horned Frogs, 75-48, in a Big 12 Conference bout at the Lloyd Noble Center.

Romero Osby added 11 points and seven rebounds for Oklahoma (16-7, 7-4 Big 12), which has won back-to-back games for the first time since winning five in a row from Dec. 29 to Jan. 16. While no one else scored in double figures, Andrew Fitzgerald and Je'lon Hornbeak scored nine points each, while Buddy Hield, Tyler Neal, and Cameron Clark all netted eight points.

For TCU (10-14, 1-0) , Devonta Abron had 12 points and nine rebounds, Kyan Anderson put up 11 points (albeit on just 4-of-19 from the field), and Connell Crossland tallied 10 points and eight boards. The Horned Frogs, who shot just 30.2 percent from the field on the night, have lost two straight since their upset win over Kansas on Feb. 6.

Oklahoma shot 50 percent from the field in the first half, but more impressively it held TCU to a woeful 4-of-24 from the floor (.167), as it opened up a commanding 36-11 lead at the half. The Horned Frogs went without a field goal in the first 11 minutes of the game.

The Sooners once again shot 50 percent after intermission and their lead was never in question down the stretch.

The Sooners forced TCU into 16 turnovers while coughing the ball up just seven times themselves.
