Recap: Oregon vs. Vanderbilt

Eugene, OR (Sports Network) - E.J. Singler scored 22 points, dished out six assists, and grabbed five rebounds to pace the Oregon Ducks in their 74-48 rout of the Vanderbilt Commodores in a non-conference matchup at Matthew Knight Arena.

Tony Woods and Damyean Dotson added 10 points each for Oregon (3-0), which picked up its third victory in a row to start the season. Arsalan Kazemi came off the bench to pull down a team-high seven rebounds in the impressive win.

Kyle Fuller paced the Commodores (1-1) with 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field. Kedren Johnson tallied 14 points and Rod Odom scored nine points, but the tandem combined to make only 8-of-28 field goal attempts. Fuller, Johnson, and Odom were responsible for 15 of Vanderbilt's 18 turnovers.

The Ducks took a 41-20 lead into halftime after they buried half of their field goal attempts in the opening 20 minutes. Vandy came out of the gate ice cold to make only 27.3 percent of its field goal attempts, including a poor 2-of-9 clip from three-point range, in the first half.

The Commodores improved their offensive production after the break by making 40 percent of their shots from the field. Oregon cooled off and converted only 9- of-23 field goal attempts in the second half. The Ducks still managed to outscore the visitors over the final 20 minutes by connecting on 14-of-16 free throw attempts.

Oregon dished out 16 assists and turned the ball over 13 times. The Commodores went 4-of-21 from long range in the contest.
