Recap: Georgia vs. Texas A&M

Athens, GA (Sports Network) - Nemanja Djurisic scored 13 points off the bench for Georgia as the Bulldogs pulled out the 52-46 win over the Texas A&M Aggies in SEC action at Stegeman Coliseum.

Also scoring in double figures for the Bulldogs (12-11, 6-4 SEC) was Kentavious Caldwell-Pope who tallied 10 points on a perfect 10-of-10 showing at the free-throw line as the team picked up a fifth straight win.

The Aggies (14-9, 4-6), losers of two of the last three, were paced by Fabyon Harris with a game-high 17 points, followed by Elston Turner with 13, although the latter shot just 2-of-14 from the floor on the day. Kourtney Roberson cleared a game-high 12 rebounds.

Georgia scored the first points of the day and never looked back, holding the visitors to a mere 4-of-21 shooting from the floor in the opening half en route to a 25-16 advantage at the break. Texas A&M missed all seven tries on the perimeter through the first 20 minutes of action.

After shooting a respectable 40 percent from the field in the first frame, the Bulldogs dropped to 23.5 percent as they made a total of only four field goals after intermission. Georgia made up for a lack of field goals by hitting on 16-of-18 at the free-throw line in order to secure the six-point home win.

The Bulldogs survived despite turning the ball over 18 times.
