The Tide took the lead for good, 40-38, on an Andrew Steele layup with less than 10 minutes remaining, and while UK got its deficit back to one on a few occasions, Alabama closed the game out by going 6-of-8 from the foul line in the final 30 seconds.

The Tide shot 15-of-21 from the foul line on the night and committed just six turnovers, while the Wildcats were a mere 6-of-11 from the stripe with 13 turnovers.
