Recap: Charlotte vs. Dayton

Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) - Devin Oliver recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds to guide the Dayton Flyers over the Charlotte 49ers, 88-67, in Atlantic 10 Conference action at the Halton Arena.

Oliver was one of five Dayton (15-12, 5-8 A-10) players to score in double- figures as the Flyers claimed their second win in the last three games. Josh Benson and Kevin Dillard scored 15 points each, while Vee Sanford had 13 points and five assists and Dyshawn Pierre added 12 points and seven rebounds.

Darion Clark supplied 17 points and eight rebounds for the 49ers (18-9, 6-7), who have lost three in a row and five of their last six. Terrence Williams added 15 points before fouling out, and Chris Braswell managed 10 points.

Charlotte shot 50.0 percent from the field in the first half and led 34-29 at intermission.

In the second half, Dayton took control of the contest by shooting 66.7 percent from the field and 19-of-23 from the free-throw line.

The Flyers overcame a game-high 17 turnovers by shooting 61.7 percent from the field and 80 percent from the foul line.
