Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Terrence Ross scored 32 points, C.J. Wilcox had 20 and Washington rolled to a 76-55 win over Northwestern in the second round of the NIT on Friday.

Aziz N'Diaye added 11 points for the Huskies (23-10), won the Pac-12 regular season title at 14-4 but had to settle for a No. 1 seed in the NIT instead of a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Washington was coming off a win over Texas-Arlington on Tuesday, its first NIT victory in 25 years.

John Shurna scored 24 points to lead Northwestern (19-14) and Alex Marcotullio added 11. The fourth-seeded Wildcats, coming out of the Big Ten, had beaten Akron in the first round.

Washington shot 42.9 percent, including 53.8 percent in the second half, and led by as many as 24 points with 3:59 remaining on a pair of Ross free throws.

The Wildcats were only within single digits briefly after Ross knocked down a three-pointer in the early moments of the second half to give Washington a 10- point lead.
