Recap: Princeton vs. Brown

Princeton, NJ (Sports Network) - Brendan Connolly scored a game-high 14 points as Princeton crushed Brown, 81-47, in Ivy League action at Jadwin Gym.

The Tigers (18-11, 9-4 Ivy), who still have a game against Penn left on the regular-season schedule for Tuesday night, also got 12 points from both Patrick Saunders and Douglas Davis in their third straight win and the seventh in the last eight outings.

The Bears (8-23, 2-12), losers of two straight and 10 of the last 11 to close out the campaign, were paced by Matt Sullivan and Jean Harris with 12 points apiece, followed by Tyler Ponticelli with 10 on the night.

Brown shot a mere 35.7 percent from the floor in the first half, connecting on only 1-of-6 behind the three-point line, allowing the hosts to move out to a 33-23 advantage at the break.

In the second half Princeton blew the game wide open with a staggering 64.5 percent accuracy from the field and 6-of-9 beyond the arc, en route to the comfortable 34-point win.

The Bears finished the contest shooting just 29.0 percent from the field and 4-of-18 out on the perimeter.
