Recap: Ill-Chicago vs. Milwaukee

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Kaylon Williams had a double-double by scoring 19 points and dishing out 10 rebounds as the Milwaukee Panthers downed the Illinois-Chciago Flames 72-61 in a Horizon League matchup at UIC Pavilion.

Tony Meier finished with 17 points and Ryan Allen chipped in 11 for Milwaukee (18-12, 10-7 Horizon) which has won three straight.

Marc Brown scored 17 to pace Illinois-Chicago (9-20, 3-14) which also got 13 from Hayden Humes and 11 each from Darrin Williams and Gary Talton. The Flames have now lost five of their last six matchups.

Despite shooting 52.2 percent from the floor and holding Milwaukee to 38.5 percent the Flames led just 32-29 as the Panthers connected on 9-of-14 shots from three point range.

Milwaukee then shot 54.5 percent and went 14-of-18 from the free throw line as Illinois-Chicago sunk to 32.3 percent shooting in the second half.

The Panthers had a 32-29 edge on the glass and also handed out 18 assists as a team.
