Recap: UC Santa Barbara vs. UC Davis

Santa Barbara, CA (Sports Network) - James Nunnally scored a game-high 21 points as UC Santa Barbara crushed UC Davis, 90-43, in Big West Conference play at the Thunderdome.

Also scoring in double figures for the Gauchos (18-9, 12-4 Big West) were Orlando Johnson with 20 points, Alan Williams 17 to go along with nine rebounds off the bench, and Kyle Boswell with 14 points in a reserve role as well in the team's third straight win and the sixth in the last seven outings to close out the regular season.

The Aggies (5-25, 3-13), losers of two straight, were paced by J.T. Adenrele with 16 points and seven rebounds and Eddie Miller with 15 points.

UCSB took control immediately at both ends of the floor, the defense holding the visitors to just 23.1 percent shooting from the floor and the offense connecting on 53.3 percent in order to post a commanding 47-21 advantage at the break.

In the second half the Gauchos continued to dominate with 54.5 percent accuracy behind the three-point line, en route to the lopsided victory.

In addition to turning the ball over 20 times, UC Davis was outscored beyond the arc by a 39-9 margin.
