The parts needed to repair defective Toyota gas pedals have been delayed in shipping. They were supposed to arrive at local dealerships by Friday, but now, dealerships say they should be in later this weekend.

The gas pedal repair itself takes about 30 minutes, say dealers, but officials say there could be weeks of delay, or even month because of the high numbers of recalled cars.
