Truck Slams Into Lexington Home

A Lexington family gets quite a wake up call, when a truck crashes into their home overnight.

The crash occurred around 2 a.m. at a home on Arcadia Park off Nicholasville Road.

Police say a driver was going too fast, when he lost control and ran off the road and then slammed into the house.

Fortunately, the family inside was upstairs asleep at the time. The house only had minor damage, but the driver was taken to the hospital with a broken leg. Police say he'll be charged with DUI. The other three people in the truck had only minor injuries.
