"It's a little bit different it doesn't last as long. I like the high. It's just fun, you can relax, it calms your nerves," comments Serenity Now user, Tony Crane. It's legal and sold at gas stations and head shops across the Bluegrass. "I've been selling its been almost 3 months. I tell the people that if they buy this, don't smoke because its not good for your health," says Marathon Gas Station owner and Serenity Now seller, Aslam Ali. Ali says that he sells about $1,000 worth of serenity now per day.
And doctors say they're seeing more and more cases. So, that's why the Kentucky Regional Poison Center is sending a warning about the substance. "We're seeing is a lot of people in the ERs, across the state because of it. We've actually had a couple that I've seen here over the last couple of weeks and it's not deadly stuff but its definitely something that gets people into the ER for not feeling well," explains Doctor Ryan Stanton with UK Medical Center. Doctor Stanton says he sees a number of different symptoms. "The adverse side effects that we're seeing would be those of almost a panic attack, anxiety, fast heart rate, chest pain, shortness of breath, things like that," says Doctor Stanton. Treatment may include giving the person a drug to stop vomiting or to calm the person down and, so far, Doctor Stanton says they haven't seen anything serious. "With the drugs we're seeing, with the combinations and the other drugs we're seeing in there, we most likely will see a serious reaction at some point," comments Doctor Stanton. Serenity Now is not regulated by the FDA. Trackback ( 0 )

Casey C.
Dr. Stanton is full of himself. I have personally smoked Serenity Now with almost everyone of my friends. None of which have ever experienced vomiting, panic attacks, or anxiety attacks. Increased beating of the heart, maybe, Doesn't fighting, or talking fast, or running, or climbing stairs make some peoples heart beat faster?
