The trailer for the movie extraordinary measures says "Don't wait for a miracle...Make one." This movie is the true story of a father who did just that, hoping to find a cure for Pompe disease, a rare neuromuscular disorder that threatened two of his children's lives.

Each year we ask you our viewers to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association when WTVQ broadcasts the MDA Labor Day telethon. Your donations are needed to help fund research for people with neuromuscular disorders.
