Cats Look to End Losing Streak Against the Vols

Solid Blue fans will be on pins and needles Saturday night as the Commonwealth Stadium will be buzzing on Senior Day 2009.

There is so much at stake for the football wildcats as they enter the final home game of the season.

At stake is second place in the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division, a probable trip to a New Year's Day bowl, and, of course, the 24-game University of Kentucky winning streak over Kentucky.

Plus, 26 seniors will be honored during pre-game festivities.

 

On Senior Day, the Wildcats are 2-4 under Rich Brooks. Last year, the boys in blue loss, 31-24 to Vanderbilt.
