We've really had a fantastic start to the weekend weatherwise, and it will only get nicer through Sunday.
Skies will remain mostly clear overnight, Saturday night into early on Sunday, as high pressure remains overhead. Lows will dip down to near 46 in the early morning hours.
Sunday will be another gem with brilliant sunshine and highs near 72 degrees.
On Monday, skies will become partly cloudy as high pressure shifts east, allowing moisture to stream into Kentucky. We should remain precipitation free through Monday, though. Highs will still be unseasonably warm, as we top off near 71.
Scattered showers will develop on Tuesday as a cold front crosses the region from the northwest. In addition to the front, moisture from Tropical Storm Ida will surge northward across eastern Tennessee, and showers tied to the tropical system may fall as far north as southeastern Kentucky. Tuesday's high will be near 62 in Lexington.
Veterans Day - Wednesday - will be a typical November day here in the Bluegrass, with partly sunny skies and a high near 56.
High pressure will scoot overhead on Thursday, promoting plenty of sunshine. Highs will be near 61.
A few clouds will mix with the sunshine on Friday, and highs will be near 63.
The second cold front of our seven-day forecast will approach on Saturday, sparking additional showers for the first half of next weekend. Highs will be near 59.
