Good Tuesday evening.  It's been a very mild day, and scattered showers have begun to move across the region.  We'll see plenty more showers in the days ahead.

Tonight, mild and mostly cloudy weather will prevail.  Isolated showers will occur, but they will be on the light side.  Overnight lows should only fall to 47 degrees.

Wednesday will be another mostly cloudy and mild day with highs near 65.  Spotty rain showers will continue to cross central and eastern Kentucky.

Rainfall will increase on Thursday in the form of heavier showers and some scattered thunderstorms.  Highs will reach 63 in the afternoon.

Under cloudy skies, periods of rain will occur on Friday as the slow-moving area of low pressure continues to sit and spin to our west.  Friday's highs will be near 57.

Slightly cooler air will arrive on Saturday and Sunday with additional scattered showers under mostly cloudy skies.  Highs will be near 51 on Saturday and 48 on Sunday.

As the low pressure system continues to decay over Kentucky and Tennessee, clouds will begin to become thinner on Monday and Tuesday, but some very light rain showers will still occur.  Highs will be near 48 on Monday and 49 on Tuesday.
