| New Circle Back Open after Crash |

 New Circle Road is back open Friday morning after an early morning crash had it shut down for hours. It happened around 3 AM on the outer loop near Harrodsburg Road. Police say a woman, who was possibly drunk, was driving a pick-up truck when she hit a car that was stopped in the emergency lane. Luckily, no one was inside that car. It was pushed into a ditch along the roadway, while the truck spun out of control. Police say the driver suffered only minor injuries and was taken to UK Chandler Hospital. Traffic was backed up past the Versailles Road exit, while crews worked to clear that scene. |
