The Louisville teen who lost one foot and had the other re-attached following an accident a year ago at Kentucky Kingdom is recovering from more surgery tonight.

Kaitlyn Lasitter underwent surgery in Nashville to repair a plate connecting her re-attached foot to her leg..

Doctors say the surgery went well and they replaced the broken plate with a newer version and added some genetically engineered bone.

The family says their daughter will continue to have surgery on her foot the rest of her life.
