We had another cold start this morning with temperatures in the low to mid 20s under clear skies but there’s good news. The Canadian high, which kept us cold yesterday, will eventually push off to the northeast and the return flow around the high will help warm us up later this afternoon and into Friday. The next storm will approach from the south tomorrow morning bringing in clouds to start the day and then eventually some rain showers around the noon. The rain showers will eventually turn over to a rain/snow mix later Friday evening and then to all snow by Saturday morning. The latest couple of forecast model runs have the moisture extent a little further east into EKY and CKY, where we could see some accumulating snow from 1-3 inches. As always, it’s still 2 days out and things could change. It is Kentucky.
Today: Plenty of sunshine. High 42. Winds out of the southeast at 5-10 mph.
