Fog may be to blame for an overnight crash that shut down part of the interstate, and sent a woman to the hospital.

The crash happened around 3am this morning on I-75 South in Lexington, just past the Newtown Pike exit. Police say a woman was driving a small SUV when she lost control and slammed into the center wall. People driving by the accident called 911.
The driver was taken to UK Chandler Hospital, and there is no word on her condition.

Two lanes of the interstate were closed for about an hour, while crews worked to clean up the scene. The interstate is back open this morning.
