Crashes along I-75 Rockcastle and Madison Counties kept state police busy early Saturday morning. According to troopers several trashes happened on the 62 mile marker of northbound I-75.KSP reports traffic was delayed and detoured for quite sometime onto US 25 from Mount Vernon to Berea. The state police also recommend if you must travel during inclement weather, slow down and take your time. Tell others what routes you will take and when you plan to arrive. Don't assume that a road treated with salt is safe-there might be slick spots. Keep your gas tank at least half full to prevent your gas line from freezing. This winter, drive like your life and others depends on it - because it does.
