Afternoon Update:

Showers are continuing to dissipate with thick clouds overhead.  As we head into the evening and overnight hours, I'm expecting that cloud cover to break up.  Given that we'll no longer have that thick "blanket" of clouds to hold in the heat, look for temperatures to take a big tumble into the mid 40s overnight and first thing tomorrow morning.

Make sure to join Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Schack tonight at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm for more on your cool overnight forecast!

As you're heading out the door this Tuesday morning, look for areas of fog, mist and drizzle.  You may want to consider grabbing your umbrella.  Temperatures today will not fluctuate that much.  We're anticipating mid to upper 60s for highs and into this evening look for temps to tumble into the mid 40s overnight.  Also, we're forecasting that cloud cover and shower activity to dissipate some into the evening hours.  Mostly cloudy skies will prevail this afternoon.

We'll be off to a cool...near cold start...Wednesday morning with temperatures in the mid 40s.  Sunshine will grace the Blue Grass all day Wednesday. Temperatures will still hover in the upper 60s tomorrow, before 70s return to the forecast by Thursday.
