Warm Clouds & Showers - Thursday

Warm Clouds & Showers - Thursday

We're tracking scattered showers mainly north of I-64 with a chance for a thunderstorm or two later.
Afternoon Update:

As of your lunch break, we're tracking showers, mainly north of I-64, with temperatures in the mid to upper 40s.  Into this afternoon, we're anticipating temps in the low 50s with perhaps a few embedded thunderstorms.

Join Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Schack tonight 5pm, 6pm & 11pm for more on this weekend's warm up!

Happy Friday-Eve!

We're tracking thick fog east of I-75 this morning.  Jackson, KY is socked in with the fog and thick clouds.  Scattered showers are continuing to move into the Blue Grass this morning, so have your umbrella ready.  By lunch time, thick clouds and showers will still be the order of the day with temps in the low 50s by that point.  Highs should top out in the mid 50s under cloudy skies this afternoon.  There is a chance that we could see a few flashes of lightning and hear a few rumbles of thunder today as well. Overnight tonight into Friday morning, I'm forecasting fog to develop along with temps bottoming out in the upper 40s and low 50s.

Get ready for near 70 degree heat by this weekend!

I'll have more on your forecast today at Noon on ABC 36.

Happy Thursday! We're mild & foggy in several spots this morning. More at 5am on @ABC36Lexington #GMK! http://t.co/WKyyoCjD
