Your Election Day Forecast - Tuesday

Before running to the polls, make sure to grab your jackets. Temps this afternoon will be below normal.
Afternoon Update:

As we were forecasting on Good Morning Kentucky here on ABC 36, temps are in the upper 40s by lunch time with a few more passing clouds in our western counties moving slowly but surely to the east.  If you're heading out to vote, make sure to bring a light jacket along with's going to be cool afternoon.

Our chances for rain will increase during the overnight hours into early Wednesday morning. Make sure to join Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Schack tonight at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm for more.

Good morning & happy Election Day!

We're waking up to clouds and cool temps this morning. If you're heading out to vote, make sure to have your fall-weather gear with's chilly!  Through the morning and into the afternoon, mostly cloudy skies will prevail as temperatures make it into the low 50s.  Should you be heading out to vote during your lunch break, I'm anticipating temps in the upper 40s by noon under partly/mostly cloudy skies.  Rain should not be an issue for us through your day; however, during the overnight hours and into tomorrow morning, I'm forecasting scattered showers to move in.

Scattered showers will be the name of the your weather game tomorrow morning on your Wednesday.  Those showers should become more isolated by Wednesday afternoon, with the numbers only in the upper 40s & low 50s for highs.

Voting for a warm up? See you Friday & weekend forecast!

It's a chilly start with a few iso. shwrs to our west and to our south. More at 5am on #GMK @ABC36Lexington.
