Friends and family are saying goodbye to the child whose story became known around the world.

Dalton Dingus, 9, who was from Magoffin County had cystic fibrosis.

Dingus dreamed of setting a world record for the most Christmas Cards received.

He broke that record and then some, by getting 800,000 cards. The old record was just 35,000.

Dalton died over the weekend. His visitation started today and continues all day tomorrow at the Magoffin County Funeral Home in Salyersville.

Funeral services are Wednesday at 1 p.m. also at the funeral home.
