Police have identified the driver who they say died after slamming into a building in downtown Lexington.
They say 39-year-old Reginald Lacewall was killed after the wreck around 1:00am Monday morning on East Vine Street at Grand Boulevard.
Police say Lacewall lost control as he was crossing Rose Street.
We’re told he came off the roadway, hit the curb, a tree, a light pole before eventually hitting the PWM Insurance building.
Police say speed was a factor in the crash and Lacewall was not wearing a seatbelt.
