Kentucky State Police identified the two victims of the Carroll County bus crash Tuesday.
State police said the two children killed in the accident were Ryder Deitz and Caroline Tuttle, both three years old.
Troopers said the two children were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said three children were flown to Kosair Children's Hospital, but no word was given on their condition.
The child flown to UK Hospital was in serious condition as of Monday afternoon, and there was no word on the assistant that was also flown to UK Hospital.
Troopers said the Head Start bus was driving on Boone Road in Carroll County when it crashed around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Officials said the bus left the roadway, partially overturned onto its side, and hit a tree.
As of this writing, police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
Troopers said here were nine children on the bus at the time of the crash, along with an assistant and the driver.
The bus driver of the bus was not injured, and three other children were examined at the scene and released to their parents, according to state police.
