Police said a man admitted to setting a fire that destroyed a Lexington home over the weekend.
The empty home on Sherman Avenue caught fire on Saturday.
Early Sunday, Gregory Cruz, 30, and Darrell Blankenship, 31, were arrested and charged with arson.
According to court documents, Cruz had keys to the home, even though he doesn’t live there.
Documents went on to say that Blankenship admitted to setting the fire in two locations using a lighter.
Cruz and Blankenship are scheduled to be arraigned in court on Monday.
